Uniform

School Uniform requirements:
(All clothing should be clearly named)
- Bottle green Sweatshirts/cardigans with school logo (Year 6 - black sweatshirt with school logo)
- Gold Polo shirt with school logo
- Grey trousers, skirts or pinafores
- Green gingham checked dress
- White socks or green/grey tights with skirts, pinafores or dresses
- Black or grey socks with trousers
- Black shoes (not trainers)
PE Kit
(This should be kept in a bag on their classroom coat peg for the duration of each half-term.)
- White T-shirt with school logo
- Green shorts
- Black plimsolls/trainers for outdoor sports
- Bottle green tracksuit/jogging bottoms for cold weather
- Optional green fleece with school logo
Please note that in the interests of health and safety the following will not be accepted in school:
- Earrings, except studs*
- No jewellery
- No make-up
- No nail varnish
*The school is required to comply with the Essex County Council Health and Safety policy for PE. In this policy it clearly states that ALL jewellery must be removed for PE, including pierced earrings. Please note that for Health and Safety reasons, earrings or other jewellery (unless on religious grounds) should not be worn during school hours. Watches are allowed but should also be removed for PE lessons. Earring sleeper studs, if worn, must be removed before the children can take part in PE/Games sessions. It is helpful if children remove them before coming to school on PE days.
A change in the Essex Policy now states that children can no longer cover the studs with Micropore tape for PE. Newly pierced earrings must now be covered before coming to school with fabric plasters by Parents or Carers on PE days. These must then be left on the earrings all day.
